Verona International Piano Competition

Since its inception the Competition has been a point of reference in the panorama of international piano prizes: the following year its foundation was welcomed as an official member of the Alink-Argerich Foundation and today has prestigious collaborations with Italian and international musical bodies. It has awarded young pianists today included in international concert circuits.

It found its characterizing elements in the extraordinary context of Valpolicella and historical sites in Verona: intimate places, where the Music of Art was born. Great guests took part, among others: Leslie Howard, Jin Ju, Wenn-Sin Yang, Kyoko Takezawa, Domenico Nordio, Vittorino Andreoli, Ugo Pagliai, orchestras, chamber groups and winners of international competitions.

Associazione Musicale Liszt 2011

It was born from an idea of the pianist on the occasion of the second centenary of the birth of the great Hungarian composer. The main purpose is to spread both Lisztian works and those of other great musicians, through concerts, meetings, debates and conferences.
